Meet Our Staff:

Beth Barrie, Physical Therapist at Ascent Physical Therapy and Rehab

Beth Barrie PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT

​

Beth is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, earning her degree in 2007 at Grand Valley University.  Upon graduation, Beth was certified by the ABPTS as a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2013 and acquired her Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2015.  Additionally, she has taken courses through the MSU Manual Medicine program and the Gray Institute, and is also certified in Functional Dry Needling (FDN level 1).  Beth is an active member of the APTA, functions as a Clinical Coordinator for Continuing Education, and is a APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor.  Beth’s treatment philosophy centers on focusing on the person as a whole, versus treating the individual parts.  Beth also incorporates individualized care plans that utilize a hands-on-approach with every client.  In her personal time, Beth enjoys biking, walking, running, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Manish, Bondale, Physical Therapy and Rehab

Manish Bondale, PT, COMT

Manish is the owner of Central Michigan Rehabilitation and Ascend Physical Therapy and Rehab. Manish completed his education in Calcutta India at the NILD (formerly known as National Institute of Orthopedically Handicapped) where he received his Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy. Since coming to the United States, Manish has worked in various settings including long term care, home health and outpatient orthopedic clinics in the Central Michigan area. Manish has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy and is certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine Florida. Manish also has special training in Myofascial Release, Kinesiotaping and Neuro-Developmental Techniques. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Michigan Physical Therapy Association, and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. Manish very much enjoys working with individuals to achieve their physical goals and enabling them to return to normal activities. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling, exercising and being outdoors. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, boating and hiking.
